Is / was there a pipe connecting the 2 radiators to make a loop? Looks like it was a loop system at one time. There is a circulator in the lower return line. One pipe steam systems dont need a circulator.

Stainless steel is a must with cedar. Anything else and you will have stains over time from the cedar oils.

Any way to replace the halogen bulb with LED's? I've got 2 fixtures minus bulbs and this thread has got me thinking about ways to update.

You can use a conduit ****** and nut to connect the 2 fixtures together. Would also be wise to use a plastic bushing on the exposed threads of the ******.

Hmm, seems a bit to complex. The OP stated he is using an interlock kit with backfeed breaker in his panel. The main and backfeed breakers only switch the 2 poles, and GND and Neutral are bonded in the panel, so it would make sense to have them bonded in the generator as well.
