The Vintage New Britain and Associated Thread!

Ran across a Husky 23pc 1/4" socket set box the other day while cleaning out an old cabinet. Would like to see if I can piece the set back together. So far I can't find an image or catalog page showing the contents. Anyone have one of these sets or a catalog image? Thanks John

    Pipe Thread Gauge/Gage?

Admittedly I don't run across fittings built to those standards often. I'd pick up the below, cut the cables and make a tray to store them in. Interested to see other opinions . . . BSPT: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07S24D455/?tag=atomicindus08-20 BSPP...

Replacement Pin, Spring & Knurl for 1960's Crescent 8"

As Jbullfrog said, hardware stores used to commonly have an assortment of these repair parts. My local hardware store still has them in a branded 'small parts' cabinet specifically for the assortment of crescent repair parts. I'm sure it is NOS that has been there for decades. Buying the parts...

Yes, the paint appears to be the original green 'krinkle' finish. There isn't any evidence of dividers having been installed/removed. No stickers or ink stamped part numbers on the ends. I've added more pictures . . . by chance does the latch style/design help date what 'era' it was made...
