ALI certified vs non certified lifts...

I own a non certified Atlas 9000lb lift. Mine has to have 12' ceilings because the columns are 1 piece . It misses my trusses by 1 inch. I will not be raising any trucks with it. It is not as heavily built as the Rotary 90000lb I work under at work but for my use it works great. I dont like...

    A few garage/lift setup questions

I had my lift delivered to my work address and arranged with a local towing company with a rollback truck to unload the lift and take it to my garage. A floor jack and engine hoist and blocks of wood allowed me to move around and unpack myself.

Quality and FAIR priced Pole building

I second the diypolebarn.com sight. I purchased and had them provide the builder and was very satisfied. You might consider giving them a call to see if they can quote the job. I had my 32 x 40 x 12 put up with door and window openings only to save money and installed them myself as funds...

Suggestions for heavy duty yard cart?

Those Haul master 10" wheels will take very little side load before the hub breaks. Its welded to one side of the 2 piece wheel. Might even be a press fit. I bought 4 for my Swisher finish mower, installed 2 on rear. Pushed it out of the way with my zero turn and the first broke. Second fell off...

220V outlets - how many & for lift...

Lift should be hard wired. Other 220v outlets depend on what you need. Welder, compressor, A/C? I wish I had put a shut off within reach of my lift just in case the button sticks.

Garage lifts layout... Straight to Angled

I hate my employers lift placements. I have to hug the left side of doorway coming in then turn right to angled lift. Cars are easy but trucks are a nightmare and require multiple 3 point turns and sometimes a floor jack under the rear to get on. Then trying to back off I have to deal with that...

    Suggested knockoff 20v cordless batteries?

I let Interstate rebuild my Snap On 18v for 1/2 the cost of new. They don't have as much power or last as long as the new one I bought.

Atlas Apex 10 two post lift

I believe ALI certification requires tsting at 1.5 times rating. So it has been proven at 15000 lbs. I have an uncertified Atlas 9000lb and feel as safe as I do at work under a Rotary 9000. What are you lifting thay weighs 6000lbs and what type of work will you be doing on it?

New lift won't fit my cars

They make sliding adapters for the rear arms that might help.https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQaMU1plo3TL0YVUoKFg8G0AcLf6ifOio6CKzCu-953CTQ4bpMVAg

    Drywall lift experience?

When you use these hanging drywall on walls do you start at the top? I am doing the front wall of my polebarn in plywood and want a 1/2" below the bottom of the lower sheets to keep from getting wet. I thought of using a couple 8' 2X4s and a 1/2 spacer as a guide to place the upper sheets high...
