12,000 sq ft exterior slab - tri siloxane?

Armorpoxy, This product looks to be more of a coating, or acrylic based product, rather than a penetrating sealer? Is that correct? If you had to classify it in one of those 2 ways, how would you?

12,000 sq ft exterior slab - tri siloxane?

Legacy, I have slabs that have been poured over the past 8 or so years. If I can, I would like to add some kind of gray stain that would slightly even out the tones of the concrete. Is this possible with your product? Also, based on the website and 5 gallon sizing, this product is just over...

12,000 sq ft exterior slab - tri siloxane?

Looking to reseal the concrete circle and pads around my house. It’s about 12k sq ft total. My concrete contractor said to use tri siloxane from a local masonry company. Guessing I’ll need a 55 gallon drum. The slabs are 3 different pours in 3 different years. If possible, I’d like to even out...

Reduce orange peel during epoxy application

Thanks for the replies. I ended up putting down 2 coats of epoxy, throwing flakes in the 2nd. I just did the 2nd last night. The 1/4” rollers are key. Much smoother finish. Macropoxy is a thick mil formula. It’s actually interesting to work with because of how thick it is. It’s like rolling...

Reduce orange peel during epoxy application

Hi all, I could use some advice/tips. I'm going to be laying down Sherwin MacroPoxy on a new slab. I had the concrete shot blasted and is ready for epoxy. The last time I did this it left an orange peel texture from the roller. I think I was using a 3/8 or 1/2 nap roller. I'm thinking that is...

    Hairline cracks.....

I'll find out tomorrow. I had a guy do the prep and had him fill them. I remember him saying it was an epoxy resin.

    Hairline cracks.....

Ok. I was going to insert an image from photo bucket. Haven't done that in a while. They say I need to upgrade my account. How are you guys inserting images?

    Hairline cracks.....

I'm going to do epoxy but have some hairline cracking. Ok, maybe some are more than hairline, but they are small. Will 2 coats of epoxy fill them in? Or do I have to fill them with something else. They are too small for play sand to go in them.

to flake or, not to flake,, that is the question

I like this a LOT! I too have been considering a solid white/very light grey epoxy floor. I've also been told it's a lot of upkeep. Can you provide some detail on your project. Epoxy color, flake color and size, how many pounds of flake, where you purchased, ect? Thank you for any insight.

    Simplifying search function?

Yes, Google is the way I had been doing it. As you said, it's a great search engine. It'd be great if there was a photo "library" of sorts. Then be able to click on the pic to take you to the thread the picture is part of. I guess I'm essentially doing that with Google right now. Thanks all

    Simplifying search function?

Just a quick administrative question. Is there a simple way to search for threads with images of epoxy floors? There's a thousand threads of epoxy floors, but a ton of them are text heavy with little to no pics.
