How to store 2 kayaks flush with garage ceiling

Since the kayak is only 45lbs, you could use wide, ratchet style tie-down straps, attached to hooks/loops in the ceiling. You could attach the first one very loosely, put the kayak through it, then strap up the other side, then ratchet them flush to the ceiling.

    Ryobi Garage Door Opener

Well, I know this is an old thread, but the LED lights on my Ryobi GDO finally went out completely. One bank has been dead for over a year, the other has been slowly dying, flickering, only half lighting, and now only 3 LEDs dimly lit. I don't think it's the LEDs themselves, but the rest of...

    Ryobi Garage Door Opener

So far, the biggest issue I have with the opener is the lighting - it may last forever but it is very poorly executed. The LEDs are NOT that bright, but it is a very cool color, almost ghostly, and have a lot of glare, since the lens is clear and you see each individual LED - at eye level - in...

    Ryobi Garage Door Opener

BTW, even if you don't get the Cord Reel attachment, you still get an extra outlet you can use on the opener. Maybe you can plug in . . . . . a separate cord reel? :eyecrazy:

    Ryobi Garage Door Opener

So I just put this in . . . .http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=324926 I agree - most of these accessories are WAY overpriced for limited functionality. Comparing it to the TOTL Chamberlain, the 950/1000 belt drive unit, with battery backup and built-in WiFi (on sale at Lowes...

    new ryobi garage door opener

I though the WiFI was actually shut off on my phone. There is a bug I did find. if you change the name of your account in Account Settings, it automatically tries to use that name as your email address. :( If you try to change the email back, it prompts you for your password, which fails...

    new ryobi garage door opener

So I downloaded the Ryobi app on the iPhone. Looks identical to the Android version. Just logged into the account I had created and everything was there. One caveat - it seem all the settings are handled at the account level. That is mostly good, but for Alerts, some should be available at...

    New - Garage door openers

So I installed the Ryobi. It seems like a good, solid unit, but I really don't have a direct knowledge of the Chamberlain/Liftmaster or Alladin units. I really like the way the battery backup is set up. It would be a no-brainer if you have or are considering Ryobi cordless tools. I have...

    new ryobi garage door opener

The way you connect the WiFi via the app is good, but will be a pain for many users. You basically connect directly to the Ryobi's WiFi on your phone, AFTER you start the app (you need to goto your phone's settings and find the WiFi). Then, it pulls up a list of available WiFi signals in range...

So . . . the app is now available! Was the first download from the Google Play store. :D Setting up is a bit tricky, and I already found a couple of bugs, but it is cool. It is also necessary to be able to get to all the settings on the opener. For example, I have the laser guide. The app is...

Also, need to figure out where to store the photos so you can access them - I don't see a place to upload them in the forum.

    new ryobi garage door opener

The only add-on I got was the laser guide. I will get a set of batteries for backup when I get a Ryobi jigsaw. Got it up and running, but haven't set up the external keypad, laser or Homelink in the cars yet. First impressions: First, I am coming from a 35year old 1/3 HP chain drive Stanley...
