Just out of curiosity did you have a receipt? I know that they will only give in store credit for items that do not have proof of purchase. This stops shoplifters from getting cash on stolen items.
If I made my living solely on turning wrenches I would not bat an eye at SO gear regardless of the price but I dont so I have no problems using low cost tools. Plus all my tools are covered by my companies tool program so if I break anything they will replace it with proto.
I did a search and couldn't find any thread dedicated to parts washers.
I have a HF 5 gal now but its just way too small for my needs. Im planning on building one soon, my plan is to use a 55 gal drum split in half and using a pump from a HF washer.
I hope to come away with something cool I have no problem standing by and watching two bros duke it out via wallet war fare. I really dont have any big ticket items in mind maybe just a box of sockets or hell maybe even some shelving.
I was wondering how the tools and smaller items dont grow...
