    Thoughts on cordless impact guns

Our shop had Craftsman, Snap ON, Dewalt 20 v and Milwaukee Fuel. Right now there is one Snap On left, and every one else switched to Milwaukee. All the models were 3/8 with a hog ring. Craftsman had no power, Dewalt had ok power but the brushes didn't last in the oily environment. Milwaukee had...

So Matco is backordered on all ratchets

7 I got a new one of them from matco a month ago or so. Didn't think they were back ordered anymore, he had rebuild kits on hand also. I love it by the way.

I hope this comes soon, I really want an SK socket set but don't like the round ratchets so I was looking at Gearwrench, this will make me wait.

    Air Impact Wrench 3/8

I could sell you my used IR if you're interested. It has nut loads of power but ever since I got my cordless impact, I never use it anymore. If the cordless don't get it I go right to the half impact.

Matco 5s or 6s? Reviews and opinions

Too late to throw in my 2 cents but I will just add that I bought a 5s about 6 months ago and I love it . The only thing I don't like is the paper thin stainless steel top I got. You can drop a 5/8 nut 6 inches and it will put a dent in it. He threw in the top for free, otherwise he would hear...

What kind of tools have you found in the road??

That is great that you did that, more work for you just to find the right owner and return it. I so glad that when I read these that when the find is significant, they often find the original owner :thumbup:

HF vs Snap On - Light Heavyweight Championship Bout

In all reality, if I had no option to buy an IR, I think I would go for the HF over the Snap On. I've tried their impacts in the past and some co workers have SO newest model now. Things have not changed. Three months of power, then off to the repair center.:headscrat

Soft close drawers for tool boxes ?

My detents are all on the lowest setting, the drawers open very nice with very little pull and close very nice but things slowly move to the back. On the bottom drawer I had all my 3/4 drive sockets stacked against the front and now I finally lined them up in the back instead. Its just mainly...
