LED light recommendations for 36x50x14 steel frame building

Yes, I got them installed and they work great! The shop as 12/2 pitch and they are installed half way between the peak and wall. They main downside is they have the dimmer wiring pigtail which I didn't use, and I should have just cut them off, they hang out.

    Haas Door Delivery Times

Currently Haas is 11-13 weeks out. Local installer prefers Haas but has switched to Midland because they have a shorter lead time. I went ahead and ordered the Haas, as it had better R value. And the price was better. I understand that at least for Midland, the hold up is they can't get the springs.

Mr Cool vs Blueridge 36k minisplit

I thought they looked very similiar and specs are pretty much identical. Suspect they may come out of the same factory.

LED light recommendations for 36x50x14 steel frame building

Narrowing down my search to UFO lights. They will be easier for me to install. Looks like 8 150w UFO lights should do the trick. My cousin installed the 240w version of these JOMITOP lights. Also looking at Hykolity and Hyperlite All seem to be very similar. Anything good or bad I should be...

LED light recommendations for 36x50x14 steel frame building

Yes, I know, ANOTHER post about shops lights. I've read till my eyes glazed over... Putting up 36x50x14 2/12 pitch roof, garage / shop. It will be spray foamed with closed cell spray foam. Plan to put white tin liner panels on the bottom 9ft. Considering painting the spray foam white for looks...

Mr Cool vs Blueridge 36k minisplit

My Blueridge minisplit got delivered today. I hadn't opted for the $25 liftgate option on checkout, but when the freight company called to schedule setup, they didn't have a straight truck in the area, so they sent it out on a semi with a liftgate. I met them in town since the dirt road isn't...

Mr Cool vs Blueridge 36k minisplit

I just ordered the Blueridge 36k DIY. It was $20 less than Mr Cool but doesn't have wifi built in, that's another $49. I'm guessing I can add another generic usb wifi adaptor later if I decide to go that route. Also got a mounting pad for 42.99 and electrical whip for 17.99 for total of $2239.38...

Mr Cool vs Blueridge 36k minisplit

Based on the discussions on here, I'm looking at a Mr Cool 36k minisplit for my new 36x50x14 steel frame shop. It will have 1.5" closed cell spray foam on the walls and 2" closed cell foam on the ceiling. I also came across Alpine Blueridge model that seems very similiar, tho the wifi is a $50...

What did/will it cost you to add 200A electrical service to your building? (educated guess?)

I have 140' to my shop from the pole and have a quote from a friend in the electrical business for $1635.04 for 100 amp service material and labor at $1720 for total of $3,355.04. Ameren doesn't allow the meter on the electric pole, so I'll have to have it moved from the house to a meter base...

Internet router or access point for shop?

You don’t want 2 routers on the same network. All you need is a WiFi access point. If you want mesh networking I’d go with a couple ubiquiti uap-ac-pro. The downside is I believe you need to have a cloud key controller (more $)or install controller software on a computer to setup the ap. Zyxel...
