too bad you didn't post this couple weeks ago. I ended up selling 15 or so c3 tools (including I had in a storage bin to a neighbor down the street.. I will double check, but I think all I have left is one of the elusive fans, which was practically new, but good luck.

I have both and end up using the small blower for cleaning up the workbench and projects. But I primarily use it for blowing the sand and stuff out of my toy hauler when camping.

Maybe I'm the odd one out here, but I've had both and actually prefer the Gen 1 style switch and lock...Ended up returning the Gen 2 due to a problem with the trigger and got the Gen 1 with 5.0 battery deal..... I could not really tell a difference in MY use of both which is probably light...
