You may get some more responses if you give us a picture of the leaking fittings. My guess is that you have standard 'push to connect' fittings. If so, there is no obvious reason why they would fail after only 8 months.

I think that a "driveway only kit" would probably include a socket set to remove AC cobra tri-wing wheel fasteners (knock-off spinners) and of course tri-wing birdfeeder nuts also.

This seems more like a "pet peeves" thread. When considering buying something on Amazon, I always look briefly at the 1 star reviews. If they come from people who clearly don't have a clue, it makes me more likely to purchase.

I put a HF 173cc onto my Murray in 2016. I think that it's a good engine. I did have to re-jet it when new.
