The tank on my Wayne compressor was made in 1965. It's still working just fine.

I never thought about using rawhide when I had cars with knock off wheels. I just used a lead hammer.

What brand of compressor is it?

I like my Milwaukee 18v tools. They have a ton of stuff out in 18v so at least look at them.

To clean all the gunk out of locks when I have them out, I toss them in the solvent tank. I let them soak a while, scrub them, blow them out with air and then lube them. I use graphite in all my locks, works smooth and doesn't gum up or attract dirt either.
