Does ebay pi$$ anybody else off besides me?

Using a snipe service allows the bidder freedom so you don't have to be sitting at the computer hitting the refresh key every few seconds while watching the auction end. Put in your max bid and forget about it. Put in an early high bid and it gives your competition a target to shoot at. There's...

My first ebay fail. Cripe Distributing. What should I do?

I've never thought about it but I guess envelopes aren't a good way to ship tools which have a value of more than a few dollars. It would probably be better to pay a little more to have it shipped in a box. Somewhere a postal employee has a new ratchet, I suppose.

How do you define quality in hand tools?

I see tools advertising they meet or exceed ANSI standards. I guess that is a measure of strength. Anybody know?

FS: Matco, Armstrong, C-man and Blackhawk

Hello, I am getting rid of some tools I have extras of and have these wrenches for sale. I'll try to list them in the order they are pictured top to bottom. All are USA made and all are full polish except for 3 Blackhawk SAE combos (these are the worse cosmetically) that are not polished. All...

Cleaning ratchets with my dad (pic heavy)

Quality ratchets and quality time with your dad....a hard combination to beat. I wish my dad was still around. My favorite is the little round head Indestro, too. I have the same ratchet in 3/8 drive with the Wizard stamp that need a kit. Anybody have one?

    wtb metric long wrenches

I would look at the KD full polish combos at Cripe. You can put together a made in the USA set of wrenches at a very reasonable price.

Old Craftsman Tool Display "board" for sale

Darrin88, I'd like to see the pics and know how much shipping would be to SC if premier passes. I kept waiting for it to be posted last night and my computer shut down right when Lump posted it. Thanks.

    Asphalt sealer on concrete?

I would patch it, use a concrete stain and then seal it. The stain penetrates into the concrete and when sealed is much better that a coat of paint imho. The stains come in several colors, too. A big box or paint store would carry everything you would need for the job.

    anyone have classic car insurance?

I have full coverage on my '65 Chevelle with State Farm. They had it appraised at 25K and the premiums are $147.30 a year. I also have my house, shop and four other vehicles insured by them so I'm sure there are some discounts in that rate.

    Tool "board" display from Massachusetts

Yep, it is cool. I've been watching the classifieds for 45 minutes lol. I'm interesting in seeing what you're asking for the wrench display.

    Cripe distributing heads up

I ordered some larger metric KDs from them a while back. Their prices were good and their s&h rates were reasonable. I've bought from them twice and never had a problem. Nice folks imo.

What's your opinion on combination wrenches

I only have a few but Armstrong long pattern full polish combos are really nice. I have a set of Klein fp combos and they are nice too although a little shorter than the Armstrongs. In the service truck I have mostly SK and Craftsman raised panels...they serve the purpose.
