There are a few threads on this. I believe that Motofloor is made by Race Deck, but they are not the same. Motofloor seams to be a much lighter weight product than Racedeck.
If it is done right, It looks great. I believe this is what is used in car dealerships. I know that when I looked into a high end epoxy, it was around $9.00 a foot and they said that if I chipped it, it could not be patched.
I have a heavy Snap-On tool box ( probably 3000 lbs on 4 5"x 1" casters) that has sat on my floor for over a year and it has held up great. As for which floor? The Big Foot is probably the least in quality ( imported China product and RaceDeck being the premium with the others falling somewhere...
It sounds to me as you have a vapor barrier issue, I would not try to paint or seal it as it will surely blister. You are a prime candidate for a suspended modular floor system
I would absolutely get a sample. I would bet that it is a China import similar to Sam's and Bigfoot. They also say you need double sided tape for install? It also looks like it is thinner.
It sounds risky to go with an unknown for a few bucks less in your prized garage?
BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT, a few times. I would never ever do epoxy or paint again and I did both the expensive stuff and the do it your self coatings and they all crack, peel and stain. Then there is the issue with most of the here today -gone tomorrow garage coating guys.
You will be much...
