The bladders are factory set and they can fail after time. Is there a valve stem on the tank? if there is you can get an pressure reading from that and compare it to the factory setting on the tank. Make sure the heat is off or your reading won't be accurate.

it should not have lost any pressure over any period of time. If it has lost pressure you may have a leak in the system somewhere or your expansion tank may be bad.
do you have a seperate meter for the barn? if not you have to calculate your total btu load of the house and barn. the 90 degree fittings do not matter
Use the sweat joints. The propress style are not rated for airlines yet. Give it time they will come out with ones that are. Most water pressures are under 75 psi. Air compressors are usully 125 psi. the little rubber seals in the propress fittings will leak
after time. My two cents.
how well are montezuma boxes made in comparison to snap on or the crapsmen and are they built in the u.s. I was checking them out on their website and the prices seem pretty good as long as the quality is there
