Wilton Bullet Vise date stamping. show yours with or without EXP on slide

I tried asking chat GPT and Gemini and they both said it was from around the 1950s. I don't know how much validity there is to that though. It said the q stamped vices are rare but they do exist. That's why I was asking here because I am just not too sure how much truth there is to that

Questions about some vintage vices I picked up today

Shot in the dark but do any of you guys know where I can find either one or two jaws for a Chas Parker 974? This is one of my favorite vices but unfortunately one of the Jaws is broken on the bottom side. I do not have the missing piece as it was like that when I bought it. Here is a pic

Questions about some vintage vices I picked up today

Hello, I have tried my thread gauge panel which is brand new and I've also tried two different hardware stores with the same results. I have also tried removing a different vice jaw bolt and that one had the same results as well

Questions about some vintage vices I picked up today

Thank you so much for all of the help! I tried matching the threads up with a 10-24 and that was no good, I tried the 1/4-20 and that was no good. I then matched it up to a 10-32 and that seems to be pretty darn close. As I said earlier if I try to screw the bolt in a 10-32 hole it will only go...

Questions about some vintage vices I picked up today

Thank you for this advice. The closest sae thread size I can find is 10-32. Neither my thread gauge for the hardware stores thread gauge has a 10-20 so I'm not sure if that would be better. Here is what I have so far, will have to try my Google fu to see what I can find on the internet

Questions about some vintage vices I picked up today

Hey guys this little 3 in clamp-on Stanley vice was missing one of the screws that hold in one of the Jaws. I have searched high and low to find this screw / bolt and have come up with nothing. I can't even figure out what size thread it is. The closest threads are a 10-32 fine or a 5mm x 0.8...
