just curious what model mini split are you using here?

i believe blueridge is actually a gree.look at alpine air's websight under each models document section and they show grees service and install info. they are the same specs as other models of grees also. by the way what's the coldest temps it's worked for you this winter?

sure we get days when we have -0 temps but we have many more days in the teen's,20's+30's when we need heat so a little auxiliary heat would not be a problem.

have propane forced air furnace now,but have a 10 kw solar array makeing more power than i use right now. also on time of rate use .05 cents off peak and .25 cents on peak which is 7am to 7 pm ,just about when the sun shines,so my solar array would cover my peak electric rates during the day and...

how long will these things last in wisconsin used more for heating than cooling? i'm trying to compare to my 20 year old forced air furnace and central air system that still works fine but very inefficiant.

current mitsubishi muz-fe09 models put out 92% of rated capacity at 5 degrees f and 58% at -13

planning a mini split installation in wi. where main mode would be for heating. could i mount the outdoor unit inside my attached uninsulated garage where it would be sheltered from wind driven snow plus it is usually 10 degres warmer?not so concerned about summer cooling because ac is not used...

use for solar panel mounting and no cutting.

which unistrut channel finish will give me the longest rust protection in an outdoor enviroment? stainless not considered for cost reasons. i was thinking perma gold because plateing is done after machining and cutting leaving no exposed edges. maybe rate pregalvinized, hotdiped...
