Had to amend the above post to take out the 68 GMC stuff. It is a completely different project. Did you do any posts on your 81GMC? If so please send them to me I would like to see it. How difficult was the swap in your estimation?

It has been quite a long time since I posted anything on my dually. However I do have some good news to report! I will be doing a Cummins swap in the early spring on the dually. A friend had a guy back out on a 5.9 12V he was selling. I went and took a look at it before Thanksgiving and we...

So I took the truck out today for a shake down run before we head Friday to Dallas for the C10's in the park. Before I left I topped off the tank to get an accurate miles per gallon reading Here were the stats: Drove 35.26 miles, and then filled the tank with 3.466 gallons, which equated to...

Last night I rebuilt my TBI. This would have been an easy job that should have taken 20-25 minutes if it had not been for the fuel supply and return hard lines. The actual rebuild only took like 20 minutes, but getting those hard lines back on was a super big pain. However I did get them back...

Depending on exactly where you are in Houston it is 8 to 10 hours. Yes the city is that big... You can do it in a day no problem. I like them lifted too! But slammed is my first choice:thumbup: I have done that trip several times and it is not that bad... Actually it goes through some very...

So I finally got the hood redone, well not 100%... It took a long time to get the replacement vinyl piece. The first go around USPS decided that I did not need it in a perfect delivery tube, so they played baseball with it and delivered the remnants. So order number 2, and that got here in a lot...

A vinyl wrap update. Houston we were having a small problem! The hood was having some lifting issues. Actually what happened was the ridge that goes down both sides of the hood I was seeing a lot of lifting in the valley (pic below). I talked with Vvivid Vinyl and it turned out I post heated...

Sorry guys I've been really lax on posting anything for quite a while, work has just been super busy, and that helps keep the roof over our heads and the parts flowing to the shop! I do have some upcoming mods and I need to finish several small projects. Stay tuned!

Sorry for not posting in a long time, but it has been too hot in the shop lately. However tonight I finally got all the AC hoses and the new accumulator installed. Next stop is to get it evacuated and filled with new freon. I guess this means I need to get the rest of the ducting done in the...

Unknown... I've been looking at it and I think it may be more of a challenge because it has a lot of complex curves. Not that they can't be done, they just take more time than the normal flat surfaces. So we shall see...

75Dually has a new shop dog... Er Fox! Opened up the shop tonight and this Fox was standing on my trailer. He made no move to run so I grabbed my phone and snapped a bunch of shots. He told me he had to split, but said he would watch over the truck anytime I needed... Yeah one cool shop Fox!
