How did that work? Years ago I worked with someone who's father was a mechanic and was having skin problems. His doctor told him to use Crisco. IIRC, the coworker said it worked good.

What about building the whole thing into a closet. You could build doors to make it as tight as you want. Since you are using propane, what about a RV stove? Leave an opening underneath for the stool? Get a microwave that goes over the stove? Small bar sink? Maybe even a granite counter...
