    What bulbs? T5, T8, T12?

Did you have any luck StarWolve? The ballast ground is said to be "critical" to the operation of the emi filter! A paper on grounding ballasts: http://www.advancetransformer.com/uploads/resources/WP-8020-R02_07-09m.pdf I'm not sure what the difference is, but I have tested some of the CE...

    What bulbs? T5, T8, T12?

StarWolve, If you get a chance you should test out a standard am/fm radio out there with the lights on and off and report back on rfi! Troy

advice on insulating my Garage door.

I think I would see about going with some spray expanding foam. Heck I've considered possibly removing the cheap impercisely cut factory sterofoam from my insulated door and expanding foaming it as to fully fill and insulate every knuck and cranny.

    thoughts on PB Blaster ?

I've not used Kroil but pbblaster is the only stuff I could find that would allow me to get 15 year old turbine bolts out of turbos without using heat or breaking the heads off. It seems to dissolve rust quite readily also. Troy

    Garage Door Install Questions

Depending on how tall your walls are and where the lift is, may not need to go high lift. If you choose this route your top tracks would go at a steeper slope then the 3/12 slope to put the garage door near the ceiling when it is up. The tracks aren't hard to do, you can pretty much cut a...

    Clarke Cabinets from Summitracing

Damn near everything is made in China so.... While I have not used the cabinets in question, the Clarke HD line of toolboxes are of decent quality. fwiw, I have a box similiar to this one: http://www.performancetoolcenter.com/cbb261.html and it is of similiar quality to a Mac Tech 1000 box...

see how much of a mechanic you are

Most weren't agreeing! Definitions of acronyms and examples of uses don't explain *why* there are multiple scales. For example, *why* is absolute pressure important for eng calcs and td problems? I have a question for you, from an engineering standpoint, does the common theory that, "removing...

see how much of a mechanic you are

I agree with Ramblur, vacuum never moves anything, only pressure. I'm surprised the engineer types don't agree with that...pressure = measurement of force, ability to do work, etc; vacuum = philosophical concept. Hence why there are multiple pressure scales like psia and psig, and most...
