Between 485 & 705 SQ/FT My Garage, My Truck and the Spit!

Nice looking 52. Nothing better than the feeling of accomplishment when the plan comes together. Glad that you will be getting her back on the road. I too love old Fords. After the whole pandemic hit I decided it was time to rebuild the front end on my 52 Ford Crestline 2dr HT. None too...

    Garage build

Excellent start, amazing floor. Awesome cabinets keep up the good work. We bought our forever home > 10 years ago now. Considering moving but I just don't think I can do it after having done so much with this place. Turns out the climate (south central TX) might be the catalyst for the...

    Help for a Newbie

I highly recommend contacting Prime Lights. Even if you don't buy from them they gave me a free layout based on the dimensions I provided. I used the stingrays in my pole barn 16' eave height and used the enclosed lights on the side shed. Several years now I am still extremely pleased with...

What Particular Hand Tools Do You Own In Excess?

I have a service cart that has a set of the most commonly used stuff. Then there is the grab and go tool bag that has a lot of the essentials. An electrical tool related box, my regular tool boxes, the tool bucket that's along the lines of the tool bag but in bucket form. So many many tools...

Let's Hear Your: "Tools I Found in the Junkyard/Road" Etc.

In 1983 I found a 12 ton hydraulic jack in the middle of the road. I figured it fell off a mobile home moving truck. I still have and use it to this day.

Vehicle Oil Changes: Are you a DIY'er?

Definitely a DIY'er. Wrote on the garage wall what side to put the hydraulic jack on for which car and how much oil each one takes. Still skidding along on the driveway on my back. Building a shop this year with hydraulic lift plans. Finally lol.

post your tools left in the engine bay story

It is amazing that you were able to find it. I was a young teen husband and father in the early 80's so eventually I was able to save up 20 or 30 dollars to get another ring from kmart. No diamonds in those days for sure.

post your tools left in the engine bay story

Took my ring off so I wouldn't damage it, set it on the battery....Needless to say I forgot about until after the test drive. My brother and I rode around on motorcycles for an hour and of course never found it. I realize the topic was tools in the engine bay. In my story I am the tool. [emoji1]
