I have a service cart that has a set of the most commonly used stuff. Then there is the grab and go tool bag that has a lot of the essentials. An electrical tool related box, my regular tool boxes, the tool bucket that's along the lines of the tool bag but in bucket form. So many many tools...

In 1983 I found a 12 ton hydraulic jack in the middle of the road. I figured it fell off a mobile home moving truck. I still have and use it to this day.

Definitely a DIY'er. Wrote on the garage wall what side to put the hydraulic jack on for which car and how much oil each one takes. Still skidding along on the driveway on my back. Building a shop this year with hydraulic lift plans. Finally lol.

It is amazing that you were able to find it. I was a young teen husband and father in the early 80's so eventually I was able to save up 20 or 30 dollars to get another ring from kmart. No diamonds in those days for sure.

Took my ring off so I wouldn't damage it, set it on the battery....Needless to say I forgot about until after the test drive. My brother and I rode around on motorcycles for an hour and of course never found it. I realize the topic was tools in the engine bay. In my story I am the tool. [emoji1]

Welcome to GJ, another fellow Mustang owner as the handle suggests 84 Anny. A couple other Fords also a 52 and a 49. Funny how three fellow Mustang owners ran into each other. Im in the process of collecting bids and ideas for my own detatched garage.
