    Hobart vs Vulcan vs Titanium...

Own a titanium 170 and the Vulcan protig 200 currently. Have owned a Hobart handler 140 and 190, older Lincoln buzz box and a weldpak 140. Never had an issue with any of them. The titanium uses standard tips. The tank pressure gauge leaked internally on the regulator out of the box, replaced it...

    Maglite

Have a few of the newer led maglights that were given to me as gifts that I keep in glove boxes for emergencies. At work and in the garage I usually have a streamlight on me though. Usually wear out the switch after a year and just order a new one.

Pb Swiss 212lk ti I have some older integy and dynamite sets, the newer stuff seems to be hit or miss on tolerances though.

How many sets of screwdriver do you have

Think two, a wiha precision set and a Mac torx set. The rest are the left overs from other sets that haven't been worn out or given away. 90% of the time I grab a Lenox 9in1 or Milwaukee 11in1. But my work ranges from automotive, heavy equipment, hvac and industrial maintenance.

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

Probably could of found everything cheaper online somewhere. But instant gratification won over with the Home Depot promo on m12 stuff, glad to see the 3/8 ratchet is weak before I decided to purchase it. Will probably add the fuel 3/8 impact wrench soon. Fuel 1/2" hammer drill+"free" 1/4 non...

Milwaukee M18 Fuel from HD or Lowes

I have never seen any 3/8 Milwaukee impact wrenches at hd, only the 1/2". I wouldn't hesitate to buy anything they carry in the fuel line though. Would see if it's available for local pickup on their site near you before goin down there.

    Screw extractors

I save half worn down dremel cut off wheels for cutting slots in stripped out countersunk/flush mount screws. Also keep a bunch of 1/4" hex torx bits for removing stripped Allen screws. If those aren't an option the lh drill bits come out.

Snap-on S710. How does it compare?

My sl832 is my go to 1/2" ratchet. It's strong and at least 15-20yrs old without any issues. Mainly gets used for suspension work and turning over engines for timing belt/chain jobs and valve adjustments. Rarely do I wish it had more teeth at 32 teeth.

Reversible Ratcheting Wrenches vs. Typical Ratcheting Wrenches

Reversible offset and locking flex are my preference. Bought my guys a husky set for the center tool cart and haven't had to replace any of them from breakage.

3/8 drive torque wrench for head bolts

Tighten to 25ftlbs, mark the bolt for starting reference, head for 90 and 180. Place socket/breaker bar on at 0, then place it where 90 would finish so you have an idea of where to stop and check.

Please give me a good reason not to buy this box.

There's the $165 coupon in the hf coupon thread for the red 5 drawer cart. You can disable the plastic drawer latches or remove them if that's what you're referring to opening only from the right side. The 10 drawer husky carts I've looked at all seem flimsy, believe the 11 drawer is supposed...
