    Snow ********

I have a similar machine to this, an early 80's Jacobsen I recently went through and rebuilt. I posted a thread on a different forum about it. I have recently rebuilt the snowblower gear box due to an oil seal leak and made a number of upgrades to the blower. Here is the original rebuild...

    HF Inspection Camera 66550

Could you post a link? When I bought this I couldn't find any other inspection cameras similar to this for under $200 it seemed.

    HF Inspection Camera 66550

It's crazy though. It's a fairly complex little board in this thing. There are so many parts to screw up that are a hell of a lot more complicated than selecting the right connector or jack. I'll just end up hard wiring this thing unfortunately.

    HF Inspection Camera 66550

Thread resurrection! Let me preface this by saying I'm an electrical engineer very well versed in failure analysis of electronics. I bought one of these inspection cameras a while back. I have used it from time to time, but not a whole lot, maybe 20 minutes in total over the years. I went to...

    Laser Tach?

This is the one I bought for $15, works great! It may be made in china, but it looks to be possibly made in the sample place as that OTC linked to http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001N4QY66/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    Advise on retaining wall(lengthy)

We have a keystone mortar less wall that varies from 3.5 feet to 7 feet tall for approximately 400 feet. These same stones (half height and straight face) are used for a couple built in stairs as well as flower beds around the house. They aren't cheap but they will last a long time if...

    Power Indicator Light

I put one of these utility return alarms in since I can't see my neighbors from my house. Although it is looking like they are out of stock. The nice thing is I can be anywhere in the house and I should be able to hear this thing going off...

Portable Generators…..weather is calling for ICE here!!

The military rates it at 10kW, but it does quite a bit more. I've had it at about 18-20kW without it skipping a beat. It is rated very differently from your typical big box store consumer generator. Also one thing to consider is it is considered prime power, which is 24/7/365 capability. So...

    Back Feeding With A Generator

    Back Feeding With A Generator

Yea, the replacement modules are very expensive. It's almost worth finding another whole unit on ebay and keeping it for spares. But I figure I'll just find another one if this one gets fried. Do you have any documentation discussing placement at the end of a buss? Everything I had read...

    Back Feeding With A Generator

You can find entire units with the ASK on it but they are typically beat up and missing parts. Finding a fresh tier two reset set along with a new in the crate ASK is pretty much like finding bigfoot it seems. I did pay nearly $1000 for the ASK but I think it was worth it. It was unbearably...

    Back Feeding With A Generator

I would love to pick up a TQG sometime. I always keep a few auction searches going for those, but they don't come up often. When they do they usually go for big bucks. The only downside to those is wet stacking if you don't keep them loaded at 20-30%. The air cooled MEP's really don't have...

    Back Feeding With A Generator

I got it from ebay actually, it was new in the box for an excellent price. Around $350 if I remember correctly. Here is the catalog listing for it...
