What did you do "IN" your garage today?

What was the issue. My wife's 01 highlander is acting up. It rolls down just fine but won't roll up very far. It will eventually roll all the way up but moves a 1/2" and stops. thanks jesse

2 Post vs 1 Post Lifts?

I noticed firestone has single post lifts in most of their bays now. Depends on your needs. Two post is better overall in my opinion/ Two post gives you access to entire undercarriage. Single post are more expensive and require in floor mounting but solves any low overhead restrictions. 4 post...

Cars falling off lifts - why?

I made a template out of plywood and 2x4 that held my j bolts for my 9K rotary 2 post lift. Installed the j bolts during the pour. Dug a 3ft wide trench and positioned the rebar so it would not interfere with the j bolts. Kind of a pain during concrete finishing but worded great. Lift is solid...

    Two-Post lift choice

I go with them to meet at a local church if they don't know the person they are dealing with. We live in a small community...

    Show off your lifts!!!

I know what you mean about the movement while torqueing stuff. Just put up a rotary spoa9k. My buddy spent a little money on the tall stands from HF and he is very pleased. I guess that is my next investment. You can make the dually quit moving around with one on the receiver and two up front.

Any of you have automobile lifts outside?

just poured concrete pad yesterday to install my two post Rotary outside. It lived inside all its life before I bought it. Not enough headroom in my shop so no choice. I think I will lengthen the hoses and mount the power unit inside though. Did I mention pouring your own concrete is hard work...
