I’ve got at least 4 of them. All were free. Which should tell you something about they’re perceived usefulness today.
My two 3/8. A Koken and a proto. It’s amazing how similar the two tools are. Yet how much more usable the proto is. The specs on paper and the real world ergonomics are two very...
You are going to find that the inherent problem you are trying to solve. Is that your pressurization medium is contaminated. Also you will need a post charcoal pleated filter to catch the dust that comes off it.
I’ve used these to pressurize spaces. They work well for pressurization. But with pressurization comes wild thermodynamic changes.
No idea on the cost of one of these. Where I’ve installed them budgets are a suggestion.

A off brand Chinese air conditioner I recently installed has hex head/phillips screws on it. The hex was 7mm.
The thing was werid. Like the indoor unit had service valves. But not a pre charged coil or line sets.
Danfoss pressure controls use a 6mm hex/ Phillips for the adjustment.
For the pump. It really depends on the model of boiler you go with. A low loss header could be installed to decouple the flow rates between the boiler and the slab. This would require two pumps
Boiler sizing is a tricky one. As the efficiency generally starts at 80% and goes up over the length...
Talk to your local viessman rep. I used to install them in bc. Parts and manufacture support was great on the west coast. Nice units.
Timers or not. Your hwt is only 6000w. That’s not enough energy to heat your space all year round. It may barely keep up above 0*c.
Then there’s insurance...
You’re looking for a ppe solution to a tool selection issue.
Yes for decades an angle grinder and zip cut was the tool for cutting metal.
But carbide blades have advanced so much. A metal cutting circular saw is a much better tool for cutting stock. The blade guarding is so much better on a...
I hate Allen wrenches. Despise them. Couldn’t design a tool that values cheapness over usability.
Bought an entire set of fractions sizes. .50 to 3/8 Snapon hard handles found them on eBay after weeks of looking. Used the 1/8 a couple of times. The 5/16 once. But generally don’t have use for...
I have generally switched to flex heads. A big reason for this is how much better they fit in my pocket with extension and socket.
Locking dual 80 1/4 is my favourite If I ever need another 1/4” or 3/8” drive ratchet it be this or its successor. Not sure how this could be meaningfully improved...
Depending on how many several is and the finished tolerances. Using a small SDS drill with a 3/8l bit following a drawn circle can get the penetrations done. Generally this leaves a rougher finish than the core bits.
Used 18 or a cat or Deere loader. Can’t recall the brand. But it was well thought out. All welded on threaded inserts on the plates, no through bolting.
16mm/ 5/8. Used on flare fittings.
Edit. I bought the 5/8” socket for my 1/4” drive set. Only to learn that 1/4 sets do not come with 5/8...
The industrial plant I work at makes its own power. Efficiency isn’t our concern heating or cooling wise. In some places we run compressors 24/7/365 and cycle on heaters to temper the air to maintain setpoint.
How many of you would choose a new efficient unit over a nos 15 year old design...
