Some searching shows it to be similar to some Allied and other imports but there are some differences from mine so it must be a no name brand.

I will remove it and see if there are any markings on the bottom or something. I mounted it because I needed to do some work but I want to restore it if it is worth it.

How can you tell? Any idea why it has the huge 6 on it?

I picked up this vise recently for $60.00 at a school district auction. It needs some work and was modified at some point but I found a guy who says he can fix it. Anyone have any idea on the brand?
