Poured walls are much stronger but are higher priced. I worked for a block contractor for a couple of years and if I was building I would do poured walls for sure.

Another thing i have learned and would reccomend is to make sure that you keep the spring(s) lubricated. I use a light weight oil in aerosol cans and it works wonders. You'd be amazed how much easier the springs will open the door if they are lubricated. I think most door mfg's reccomend...
