If my suspicions are correct that's the driver for a receding threader. I recently purchased a threader that I now believe is half of a set, I think that's the other half. I have a machinist making me an adapter so it will fit a ridgid 700.

Just curious, did you ever find any dies that fit your power driver? I'm betting not. I recently bought a LAWCO threading device and I'm betting that was the driver for it. It has an octagon nut that measures 1-5/8". I was looking for an adapter for it when I came across this forum. I'm betting...
