I'm looking at Thurgoods as well. The wedge sole ones are super comfortable right out of the box. I had always bought Red Wings before. But the pair I have now are Chinese made (didn't know any better at the time of purchase) I've had them for a few years & they like I've got 2 bricks for feet.

That's funny my I have that exact same shelf. It was a part of my mother-in-law's waterbed. I took it all apart and made some shelves for over my workbench.
