You would use the wrench for better centerline contact on the nut. When you use a socket and ratchet the leverage gets moved farther away from the centerline of the nut. This will in some cases cause the ratchet to lose contact on the nut. If you use an impact on the socket this is not an issue...

I'm sure there will be an open house for customers at some point not sure about a general public open house. We are still about 3 months out before we get an occupancy permit. Suspect we will know more when we get a better move in date.

Top 3" is made up of Emery top. Only thing harder is a diamond, so they claim. Can't image how efficient a track or body dolly would be when you are pulling in and out multiple machines a day.

Would not recommend painting the top. I would use a 9" grinder with a 36 trite sanding disc to the top then go back over with a 60 grit. If you grind in one direction with one grit the the opposite with the other you will have a pretty cool finish. Then as Thumper68 said apply WD-40. As far as...
I know right, I tried to put a PM bay in with a pit to change fluids and there are an extreme amount of permitting that would have had to be done so we opted out of that.
