I built mine at 39 inches, when the casters are on it, it will raise the work surface up to 43 inches.

Not done yet, still need to add the casters(which I have), I was just a little tired last night. Also picked up a piece of 12GA HR Mild Steel to be used as the work surface yesterday(which I will add after installing the casters).

LoL. Your absolutely right. I was at Lowes, grabbed a sheet of 3/4" particle board but they said they could not cut it down due to it being "particle board". So we walked back over and I snagged a piece of 5/8" plywood and they cut it down for the shelf and work surface. Thanks for the kind...

Got off a little early so I stopped at Lowes for a nice sheet of 5/8 particle board. Called up Alan Steel and have a sweet 11Ga plate that will cover half of the workbench for my welding needs(Thats my way of saying practicing, LoL).

I purchased a 6 gallon Rigid wet/dry vac from HD and it is extremely loud. I hook it up to my media blast cabinet and it is more annoying than my compressor. Works great though, won't complain about that. Think I paid about 40 something dollars for it. I would purchase the auto cleaning kit...

It does look like it is burning the insulation there, the corrosion on the front of the water heater was not there a month ago, it appearantly appeared when they changed the routing of the vents. Not sure what to do about the burnt looking insulation though. Any suggestions?
