    Big compressor without 240v?

As someone mentioned earlier, 6-7 cfm is the most you will get with 120V. If you are willing to spend the money, IR makes a nice 30? gallon unit. Unfortunately it costs nearly as much as a cheaper, higher output 60 gallon.

    Thread Pitch Gauge

I don't think you converted your fractions properly when you bought the drugs you are smoking.

Gojo and Fast Orange (any diffrrences?) are what I use and they work well enough for me. Dawn in a pinch.

    Best tube grease

All grease is definately not the same. On sealed OE parts there is a lot of engineering that goes into determining the best grease for specific applications. For DIY applications though it's not nearly as important so I like to get whatever coloured grease is on sale(easier to see).

Now I'm a believer in Snap On

Any decent socket could have taken that off, but hey whatever floats your boat.

Anyone Use Silica Gel in tool box?

Chinese Quality Control at it's finest - Thanks Irwin!

Just because it's not right, OP thinks it's reasonable to blame the Chinese, even though it's made in the USA? Someone needs a reality check...

    I'm tired of 9mm tools

I guess you can't satisfy everyone. Some people complain about sets not being complete, while others complain about being too complete. Personally I'd rather have one and not need it, rather than need one and not have it.

Which air tools are better than electric?

Air tools are much more satisfying to use and I know they will last me a lifetime. I'm no pro but there are some tools that can't be replaced by battery power...yet.

Best Deal on a medium duty work bench

If using a door as a benchtop, definately go for a solid core.

any Canadian here?which one is better Jet or mastercraft maximum?

JET makes good quality tools with a really nice finish. You can find them at lordco if you are in BC. Mastercraft maximum in my opinion is a better value when it is on sale for 50+% off.

    Quick Release ratchets

I prefer QR ratchets. If you are worried about breaking the drive, you should be using the next size up anyways. And I've never bumped the button, but I have bumped the ratchet only to have the socket fall off the drive.
