Mr cool AZ garage install completed

Hey . I just did a 18,000btu in my small ish 3 car garage. It does a good enough job but it certainly isnt going from 109 to 80 in 30 minutes. I need to do some blown in ceiling insulation (have drywall but no insulation). Walls are cinderblock.

I'm installing a Mini Split this weekend

Correct, THHN is what I bought. Thank you. Correct. Like they install them on the sides of hotels and apartment buildings in other countries.

I'm installing a Mini Split this weekend

Thanks guys for being worried about my safety but Ive got scaffolding in place. Mounting it so high would allow it to stay well out of the way. Yes its annoying getting it up there but once its there, It should stay out of the way for years.

Thanks for the input. I can leave a little excess but I intend on cutting the lines down some rather than coiling them. I believe the unit comes with lag bolts but if not I will go out and buy some. Im pretty notorious for overthinking plans.

I still have a couple questions and things to buy. I have a 18,000 Pioneer Diamante Ultra going into a 600sf uninsulated garage (in Phoenix) and I am debating installing the condenser above where the air handler is being installed about 20ft on the side of my house. I have the whip and...

Kerosene in portable parts cleaner for water based products only

It certainly does leave residue on parts. Typically im cleaning automotive parts which after a quick wipe down doesn't have too much residue left over. My Garage is typically over 100 degrees in the summer and no issues yet.

Kerosene in portable parts cleaner for water based products only

I've been using Diesel in my cheapie parts washer going on 5 years now and its been fine. I actually have a remote oil filter plumbed in to filter out some of the contaminants (additional strain on the small pump) with no issues. Honestly, the tank is $100 or so. If the pump fails no biggie ill...

Minisplit Purchase, R32 or R410? Or does it matter?

Im looking to purchase a 18,000 BTU minisplit system as my garage is around 100 degrees in the summer out here in Phoenix AZ. It looks like the industry is moving to R32 here shortly and I dont want to buy a 410 system if the freon is going to be out of favor in the next few years. I guess what...
