Did the .5" board make an impact?

I tried a few searches but only got VERY OLD threads that were limited. I've got two older, wooden garage doors. The center sections are basically particle board or plywood at best. The sections are all recessed .5" from the inside framing. I'm thinking of gluing foam boards to the doors, but...

For me in NY, they will ship from PA to a local installer who will take delivery and then bring it to me for installation. I think all in that will be 1300. It would have been 900 but for where I live and the added tolls. Welcome to Long Island.

Exactly. My only issue is that there's the master bedroom above so the floors need to be reinforced. I'm thinking maybe I'd lay down another sheet of plywood on the sub-floor in the bedroom since I'm putting in new w/w carpeting anyway.

I spoke with one of the owners and I think he said they are working on certification. I wonder how important and also how hard/extensive it is to obtain.check I'm buying one. Seems like best bang for the buck. I really like design

I've also decided on this lift after a lot of research. I like the square posts over C channel as well. Safety! Plus, they offer great feathers and value for the money.

What are you doing for more ceiling room that you eluded to?
