I picked up this Erie vise for a song with some other items. Neat design, and it's all there. Kroil is starting to loosen the parts on it while it sits waiting for its turn.

I'm equally interested in that shelf! Home build? Those shelves look thick.

Anyone really understand well pump systems?

I do not have a check valve in the house, as the plumbers told me there's one in pump in the well. The run is ~150 yards from the well to the house, and ~15 feet in elevation gain from the dirt to where it comes into the house. My water heater doesn't mention anything about a pressure tank...

Anyone really understand well pump systems?

Would you be able to explain the problem I've been having for months now? I have terrible pressure, and the plumbers who have been out, who installed the system, can't seem to figure out the issue. I have a Flexlite FL12 fiberglass tank from 2018, good voltage at the pump, a healthy well, a...

Shop Swarf is my new favorite garage term. If it was bolted down, they may have used bushings, but in my limited experience, i doubt anyone did. It may have just been a hand me down and pass around and never used, with the blemishes being storage and handling dings. shop swarf.

Great timing. I just rescued a Paramo #6 that needs some serious TLC, but should come out great.

    $1000 Budget… Woodworking from Scrap…

I just got the Bosch GET75-6N and it is a monster. I've been using it with the purple / violet inexpensive 6" pads from Amazon. It is a heavy, loud beast, but it does the jobs I need done extremely well. Dust collection with a big Ridgid using a generic dust deputy is great as well.

    Milwaukee Power Tools Deal Permathread

I don't have any scientific data, but I've been using the **** out of, and fast charging my 9.0Ah battery 8 months of the year for -3 years now and it still pumps hard with the leaf blower and string trimmer. This was before I would carve my purchase dates and initials into the batteries...
