    Sounds like you are doing your home work. I also had thought about building myself, but realize that it would have been more than I could have handled by myself. I had a good situation with my contractor which kept the price reasonable. But it still will cost more than I planned.:(

    Thanks, like you I spent a LONG time thinking about what I wanted. For me the seperate rooms seemed to be the best way to try to contain sawdust. Even with a dust control systems you still seem to generate plenty of dust.
