It's an Enviroair unit but I've done some research and most cheap units are the same haha. It's got a heat pump, no coil heat but I live in Houston so cold is never a problem :)

Woofabear, you revived a 6 year old thread haha. I ended up installing a 15k btu mini split system in my garage, total cost was under $600 but I installed it myself. I also spent $20 on some insulating foam from Home Depot for the garage door and then another $200 insulating the attic above...

Finished restoring my Stanley Bedrock #607 *Pic heavy!

I know! My bench is currently being refurbished and I literally don't have anywhere to clamp a work piece down! I was thinking of half-assing it and just butting a piece up to the wall but getting a good picture of that would be difficult. I'll get one soon I promise.

I took each individual screw and polished it clean. I spent a good amount of time getting the sides and...

I debated on making a thread and updating it but I thought it would be better to just let it all out at once since it took me so long to finish. To start, I bought an old Stanley Bedrock off craigslist for $40 HERE Pictures of the plane he emailed to me before I bought it. It was in rough...

Cleaning Copper, What should I use????

I believe you could put a plastic bag over it and fill the bag with a good ammount of ammonia and it should whipe right off after a day in the sun (the fumes are what works), other than that vinnegar and salt is the way to go.

    Ideas for my leaky garage?

There are a few things you could do. Build a larger and deeper trench and put some perferated pipe on the bottom with river rocks above to drain the water, easy, cheap fix that just requires some leg work. Next step is a bit more labor intensive. Pull the siding off and install a tar backed...
