Want to own a cheap smoke machine?

I only tried the fluid that came with the unit and that works well.

Want to own a cheap smoke machine?

Thanks Scott and John. Yes, it even fits in the original box of the fog machine (sans the styrofoam padding). I bought all the parts in John's blueprint but then figured with one more 90-degree elbow, I can fold things up and make it more compact :)

Best Aluminum Jack for under $300??

They do look similar but not sure what that means in terms of quality. HF one has a 3 month warranty only plus I have not heard of the brand. For safety equipment where my life is in the line, I would rather trust some well known brands but that's just me. BTW, this is a better deal...

Best Aluminum Jack for under $300??

I'm very happy with the OTC aluminum ~$240 http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000XSCEBM/?tag=atomicindus08-20 I've had mine for a few years now and it never disappointed me. One of the attributes I love is the full height of 18" and 2ton. Most light weight jacks are either lower than that or with a...

How to repair snapon FAR7200 air ratchet

Ah, that would be nice and thanks for the info. I'll check my serial number tonight. Does "11" mean the tool was manufcatured in 2011? The $127 and $140 rates were quoted to me as a retail customer. If all they do is replacing parts 4 and 5, I doubt anyone except me will lose money. But of...

How to repair snapon FAR7200 air ratchet

Except it's not bought from Snapon or Snapon dealer. It was bought from a third party from eBay. Called Snapon and they said they would not warranty tools that were bought from eBay :(

Yes, the FAR7200 looks awesome. A quality product for sure...like all other snapon tools. They just feel right to your hands the first time and every time.

How to repair snapon FAR7200 air ratchet

Leather belt is a good idea. I would probably try to loosen it by hand first like you said.

How to repair snapon FAR7200 air ratchet

Thanks wafrederick for the info. I wish it was $87 in my area. Called two snapon local dealers, they charge $127-140. Inflation I guess. It's interesting to know that the trigger could leak even right after a snapon rebuilt. Now I don't feel so bad about it leaking even though it's brand new :)...

How to repair snapon FAR7200 air ratchet

Hi Boiler, extactly the info I need and thank you so much!! Mine has a rubber boot over the handle as well. How do you grip the handle/body preventing it from rotating when you took out the inlet bushing? I plan to use a slip joint plier with some padding and an impact gun to zap it out.

How to repair snapon FAR7200 air ratchet

Thanks for the reply. The problem is mine is brand new and it does not make much sense to pay $127 (flat rate fee) for snapon to repair it when all I need are #4 and #5 ($7 total) replaced. Those could be replaced by removing the lower part of the ratchet (i.e., inlet bushing #1 only) without...

How to repair snapon FAR7200 air ratchet

Hi all, I just purchased a FAR7200 but there's a leak around the trigger even when the trigger is not touched. The manual calls for replacing the trigger valve and valve seat. Parts #4 and 5 shown below Has anyone done that before? Is it just a matter of removing the inlet bushing (part #1)...
