    Hi from PA

I'm in Conshohocken - near Philadelphia. I'll be returning to the sticks at some point in my life. I used to deliver pizzas for Valley Pizza - that was a lot of fun.

Help ID these two "NASA" tools

Let me double check the stamps. I find it impossible to believe these are associated with the real NASA.

Help ID these two "NASA" tools

I bought a matco tool chest this summer and it wasn't fully cleaned out. there were a bunch of thermometers, magnets, and spanners which were in rough shape. These two tools are stamped "NASA 419" and "NASA 440T" Anyone have any idea what i've got here? Thanks in advance!

Re: For those in the Electrical Trade, - what is considered "Fair" mark-up on Materia I received a total of 3 quotes and his was in the middle and very close to the lowest. I also asked if he would throw in 2 squares of the same shingle for me to do my own porch roof in the fall. He agreed and...

We now know that it was an unreasonable mark-up and there was another issue with the portal to portal measurement. I was also surprised to...

    Underground Lair of the Squankum

+1 for that glass cleaner. As you note the smell isn't appealing, but is way better than anything with ammonia. This reminds me - I should wash mine again.

    The Great Little Garage

I've always had tendencies to keep stuff around as well. You've inspired me to give my garage another shot. Oh, and here's a quote I've always enjoyed "Perfection is achieved, not when there's nothing left to add, but when there's nothing left to take away"

    Woodworking sub-forum?

same here. Plus, I'm sorta into both! I do simple car maintenance and a few renovation related tasks in my garage. I've gotten more serious on the car front recently with help from the GJ. A subforum as you propose would help on the other front.

The VINTAGE toolboxes of Garage Journal!

I think I got a pretty good deal on it, less than half the cost of the craftsman you see there which was brand new. Any idea on how I can find out the year? I'm considering calling MAC tools directly. Will post up more pics when I get it cleaned up and lubed.

The VINTAGE toolboxes of Garage Journal!

Picked up the set on the right this weekend. With a little bit of cleaning and greasing I should be set with tool storage. Can anyone tell me what vintage or era? I'm quite curious.
