    Out of interest...why build the walls up to joist height in wood as opposed to 4" block.Is it cost,speed.."because we prefer it". Im looking at the project from England...we are mainly into the traditional brick/block construction style. Good progress...:thumbup:

    If the scales did not show pounds as well....what would you do if a person did not weigh an exact number of stones?....just round it up to the nearest one.

He said $750 if on the ground and $1000 if on scaffold" I was born in the wrong country!..No bricklayers in the UK are being paid that amount of money.Its unheard of here to be paid...

    So we bought a house...and it comes with this....

    Out of interest...close to your house in Lemoyne Road there are several houses with "lakes/pools" in the gardens.Are they for leisure activities or another reason?,not a common sight in England. Best of luck with your new family home.
