Pulled a Champion air compressor out of a closed embroidery shop last year. All other machinery was cut up for scrap. It is a 3 cylinder 2 stage, 2hp 3 phase motor with a 60 GAL tank. The only tag I have found on the pump is a serial number of CAW008226. Shop owner thinks that the compressor was...
The wife just turns the Jack Russell loose on them. If it isn't poisonous the dog just kills them quickly. If the snake is poisonous then the dog just barks at it until I come over and kill it. IF I see a non poisonous snake I lock up the dog until it goes away on it's own.
Not big enough for all of that stuff. I have a 22x28 that has only been for tools and projects. 2 car attached is for the wife's extra horse stuff and parking. Lawn mowers and other tools in the hay shed, tractor stays outside for now. 28 deep is enough room that I can pull the crew cab dulley...
You getting much better prices than I have found down here. TSC will order pellets for 5.00 a bag if I order them by the pallet (50 bags, 1 ton). In this area TSC stopped floorsplanning wood and pellet stoves. Store managers have to oder pellets to keep in stock instead of having the warehouse...
I see that your plan uses a 45' radius. I've always planned the turns around the riding rings with a 55' radius. I don't remember were that number comes from but that is what I plan for incase a semi came on the grounds.
I have a 22x28 w/ 2 8' doors. I would rather have a single door just because of the 1ton crew cab. It fits but it is tight. To work on the front end it has to be moved toward the middle for some extra working space. A single door would make this much easier. Currently I've moved my father wood...
I'm with Larry G on this tool, use one around the farm. Mainly for small jobs were I don't have the ability to or want to drag out the bigger saw. Replacing fence boards that the horses have broken or lite barn repairs.
Not trying to start a fight but is using a house box fan to provide positive pressure in a painting enviroment as much of a danger as using a house box fan as an exhaust fan?
I've seen people try to do this but it never works out just right. The metal ends up wavy and full of holes. I would just build new if there was any way I could afford it.
I built this shelving system in my garage. Ran the slats the full 28' length starting about 30" from the floor.

I like the thought of pulins clips on the bottom but on all of my barn trusses the bottom piece of metal isn't big enough to hang 2x6's from. In the picture you posted the lower piece seems smaller than the rest of the truss is made from. I would think that one unbraced piece of metal spannning...
That is about the standard truss style in this area for agriculture buildings. My horse barn and another barn used for storage of hay and other items both have this style of truss. One item to think about is the type of insulation you use and where to put it. Are you going to insulate the roof...
I picked up a large parts washer from my BILlast summer. It had been sitting outside under a lean to empty and unused for 2 years that he had it. I now ready to put this thing back to use. The bottom of the washer has a mix of light rust a flaking paint. Do I just clean up all of the loose paint...
