Thanks, I had noticed them and called them for some info. I was impressed with their response so I bought my PM45 from them today. Also bought a HT face shield for plasma cutting.
Thanks for all the feedback. I found it helpful. Coupled with this and a bunch of other research, I have decided to buy a Hypertherm.
I will likely buy the PM45 when I decide where to buy one. The local dealer wants too much. It would cost me 20% more to buy local and that is more than I...
I am going to buy a quality plasma cutter in the nominal 1/2" capacity range.
Pondering a Miller Spectrum 625 or a Hypertherm Power Max 45.
I like Miller simply because I have used their welders for years. I am told by others to consider Hypertherm.
I am looking for your experience and...
Ken, thanks for the feedback. Looks like a steel schrader may be in in order.
I thought about these vents as well and have a couple of extra and sealer that I bought from EZ Pour. They use a 1/2" hole and if they don't work, I could always put the gutted steel schrader valve in.
EZ Pour is the answer!
Okay - no responses but I did manage through to an answer and will post it here for others. I bought the EZ Pour nozzles and hoped that they would work.
EZ Pour nozzles do work on the Briggs jerry cans. You end up with a really good can with this solution. I will...
I have two of these cans - essentially new. Cans are good but the caps and spouts are terrible. Anyone come up with a solution to replace them? I found the EZ Pour stuff but not sure if they fit or not. Any help or experience would be much appreciated.
Anyone have experience with this specific grinder.
Metabo WE14-125 Variable Speed 4 -1/2-Inch/5-Inch Angle Grinder
The reviews on Amazon are quite limited and a bit mixed to my surprise.
I like the notion of variable speed for use with a velcro disc/sanding discs and flapper wheels.
Would...
I am in the market for a high quality 12 ton bottle jack. I can order it if need be.
1. What and where would you buy one?
2. I suspect that the majority are now made in China, is that true?
Thx for the help
Okay, it went in the trash. It was getting air into the jack when pumping. Obviously needed a seal on the pump. It was essentially unused but about three years old from HF.
I cleared it out as suggested, filled it with oil again, and used it - SOS. Pulled the plug and it blew air and oil...
Hiball, yes, I filled it up to the level of the plug but I may not have bled it properly by pumping as described by MechTech above. I am going to give it a spin again. I have a lot of fresh hydraulic fluid so i am going to drain it all out first and then put in fresh as well as described here...
Have a really fine Harbor Freight POS 12 ton bottle jack. It would spring back up when you opened the release valve and pushed it down. Obviously it had air in it.
When I took the fill plug out and it hissed. I pushed the cylinder all the way down, filled with hydraulic oil acquired from...
