    Torque wrench for < 14nm

check these 2 out, I'd go with a dial unit unless you are torquing hundreds of fasteners, then a click type would be preferable. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0042F8BG4/?tag=atomicindus08-20 http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000KL70RA/?tag=atomicindus08-20

    Battery Jumping: The Process Explained

It's best to use to proper jump start terminals. Most cars these days have places under the hood to hook up jumpers away from the battery, and usually a direct path to the starter B+ supply and engine ground. It keeps the current path short and makes starting easier.

Looking for banana plug jack/ diy test leads

Thanks guys, I just ordered one from the uk seller around $50 for 20 pieces shipped. I'd love to get one local but I barely get enough time to go grocery shopping, let alone go to radio shack. ddawg it is a snap-on pacpro 5 in 1 made by edge diagnostics, I believe it's from 1991. I started off...

Looking for banana plug jack/ diy test leads

Thanks! I always forget to check ebay. I was hoping to get solder or crimpable ones, just for a more professional look, and I found these for only $1.70 each but they are in UK if shipping is reasonable I'll probably get 20 of them. Thanks again.

Ideas needed - enclosing cnc router

If it is just the router that is too loud, and your cutting noise seems reasonable, then maybe look into the chinese ac spindle/vfd combos. I paid $400 for mine off ebay. If you are set on an enclosure, then I'd go with a 2x4 box frame, with drywall panels. Probably hinged on the bottom to...

Ideas needed - enclosing cnc router

Do a search for super-pid on google is is a nice speed controller for routers. If your router is single speed, then chances are you are running it way too fast anyways. bringing the speed down to 8000rpms or so will bring the noise level way down. Are you familiar with feed and speed calcs? On...

    Wiring to Subpanel Questions

    * I am not an electrician, just sharing some thoughts, use at your own risk * 1. I think that is ok, given you use a retaining clip to secure it. (backfed main breakers must be secured) Is what I have heard. 2.No idea 3. Maybe you could pigtail together some of the smaller ground wires, to...

? about 240V wiring; what gauge, separate circuits?

I'll try to answer, but I would wait for confirmation from someone who knows what they are talking about before you go buying materials, or doing work. Also by a home wiring book to read through for the basics, it helped me a lot when wiring my shed. 1. 12 gauge is good for 20 amps, whether it...

    Hex Drive Bit Adapter

Do you need the clip inside to hold the bit in place? If not just use a 1/4" socket. Otherwise you can look at the 1/4" driver sets at home depot or ace hardware or something. One of them might have the adapter you need.

    Makita or Milwaukee tools?

I have a few of the makita lxt 18v tools. quick rundown btl063 3/8 angle impact - very fast and slim, I use it a lot for fender liner screws without removing the wheels. btd141 1/4 impact driver - used it a lot driving 4" wood screws, plenty of power any screw, haven't tried any bolts really...

    Turbo Log Manifold?

You may want to look at a y adapter pipe that fits on the stock manifolds. do a google search for "m20 turbo manifold adapter" and you will see. Some of them are seemingly overpriced, but it may be worth looking in to.
