Surprisingly, a Delta (15 years old) just showed up a few hours away. I'm looking into it.

Definitely hobby/personal use. I've actually got a few motors I could swap to whatever bandsaw I get and the upgrades/fixes for the Ridgid are pretty straightforward.

I use KSL and Facebook mostly. Check in on CL every now and then.

Yeah, that's about 10 hours driving from where I am. The gas there and back would cost me $400. Might as well order a Grizzly.

I have a choice between two 14-in band saws. The first is the harbor freight 14-in bandsaw, brand new about $400. The second choice is a 4 year old but hardly used Ridgid 14-in bandsaw at 300 to 350 dollars. I can't afford a $1,000 grizzly, there are no jets for sale here, there are no deltas...
