Looking for a new torque wrench

Does that mean that they are all made at the same factory and to the same specs/tolerances?

Issue with finish on new SK flare nut wrenches? (Photos)

:shocking: Wow, good call - I was able to remove some of it with isopropyl alcohol and significant elbow grease! (I had to really work at it.) Can't believe it, it really seemed like the chrome was missing. Before and after photo attached. So a happy ending, I guess?

    Tools of Japan

I am looking for nice Japanese flare nut wrenches available in the USA, at a decent price - any leads? Bonus points of they manufacture SAE sizes. Cheers!

Issue with finish on new SK flare nut wrenches? (Photos)

I do hope that SK sees this. Def a bummer. I don't have a lot of "nice" tools, I was excited to spend some money on quality Made in US tools and to avoid rounding off my flare nuts. I'm not sure what other brands to consider? SK & Proto are too expensive for my hobbyist needs.

Thanks to all for the feedback! I ended up buying from both Circle C (thanks lardy1 and others) and Harry J. Epstein (thanks 2ndGearRubber and others). Circle C had grat pricing but did not have one of the SK wrenches in stock. I don't like to buy from the cheapest vendor when I can support a...
