I came across this site when I was looking at reviews on the Duall Saw and the Sears Twin Cutter. The site looks pretty informative.

I bought the Sears Twin Cutter this June of 2011 and was cutting corragated metal, the metal was about 1/16th thick, I had 2 pieces left and the housing started to smoke, I called Sears and They told me what to do and had no problems with Customer Service.
