Resale is the first thing that comes to mind. Many of the people who would be interested in a home with a building like that are probably car guys to some extent, and a building with the ability to have a lift in it is worth much more to me than a building that can't have one. I would suggest...

I have that same exact setup, and while I like the box, I waited for the 50% off sale and picked it up brand new for a little under $1000. I would offer him 5-600 and watch for the next 50% off sale if he doesn't want to go a bit cheaper than the $800.

Got a friend of a friend deal on these Milwaukee tools I just couldn't resist. I love the 18v Milwaukee stuff and also ordered the metal saw and portable vac as well as the 12 volt die grinder and 3/8 cordless ratchet.
