Trusty-Cook’s Dead Blow Extender, Order Pre-Release

Does this dampen some of the initial action of the deadblow hammer? Or for all intents and purposes since the extender won't move much when hitting something really stuck, is it effectively the same as using a solid plastic punch (also useful). Thanks!

Is this no longer available? Not finding it on Trusty Cook's website.

Snap-on Allen Hex/Torx head extractor set ? (hex head screw that might be stripping.)

The ridgid spline extractors also look similar to RBRT? https://www.zoro.com/ridgid-screw-extractor-set-including-model-nos-1-2-3-4-and-5-35580/i/G503954029/

Snap-on Allen Hex/Torx head extractor set ? (hex head screw that might be stripping.)

SockItOut look like what McMaster sells for Hex heads. RBRT look nice, but I wonder if they won't work as easily for hex head because presumably you need to drill a hole of a specific diameter (still possible but you can't just use the stripped head). I was about to order some Sock It Out...

    American Made router bits

Whiteside. You can even call them and speak to an American if you have questions. Real USA made bits. There might be other small manufacturers, but not aware of them. Note: the lady at Whiteside told me their bits are still USA made but they were forced to remove that from the packaging...

What would everyone choose for a pry bar set if you were to buy new?

Thanks. Looks like Mayhew 58" is another $3-4 cheaper. 3/4" square shank... thick enough to take 250 lbs on a 5 ft long bar?

Best made in the USA 3/4" garden hose?

Dramm is who I'd choose, with what knowledge i have. Don't know if they were the OEM for the black Craftsman hoses that were made in USA, but they look remarkably similar.

Garden hose quick disconnects that don't ****.

Dramm makes real ones in USA. Not fake brass colored aluminum.

    First Icon Tool Purchase

The real Channellock USA made 8" needle nose pliers are $20. Why are people paying $18 for the Harbor Freight copy?

    Malco Eagle Grip pliers

What is a slim jaw eagle grip? Why not clean the threads of the stud to avoid such severe binding?

How does everyone store there punch and chisels in their tool chests?

Schaller bins? Or small cardboard boxes, wooden boxes, the possibilities are limitless. Schaller boxes are probably the easiest and most uniform if the available sizes work.

Epstein's Tool Gossip : Channellock's New Locking Pliers

Craftsman was unbelievably the only one of which I'm aware who got this correct. One color for flat blade, another for Phillips, and another for torx. One color for all is primitive and lacking design thought.
