Is the Den of Tools a shill?

He's a shill, also he gets paid via "HF product leaks". You know its weird you can get access to very good quality spy photos and tool brochures every new release. I don't watch his channel anymore, he gets annoying. Also hate his rants on craftsman and Snap-on, so dramatic to even cry on a video.

New Toolbox search-Husky Heavy Duty vs Craftsman V Series vs US General

Tough decisions, I would go with the V series as it has nice feature and actually much better made then other craftsman boxes. Also USA made, price isn't bad either, in store and +military discount it will be cheaper then online.

Show us your *NEW* 2021+ Craftsman V Series tools and tool boxes!

Craftsman is not going away, not sure why this keeps coming up. Hugely profitable brand with some missteps of course. But Stanley is not going to just randomly shut down a brand they spent over $1b+ on, just because the V line was a failure.

Show us your *NEW* 2021+ Craftsman V Series tools and tool boxes!

The V series is a nice box, actually well made. I don't own it, but seen it and played with it. The price for a USA box isn't bad either, not amazing or anything.

    Tools of Japan

This is made by I forget who in Taiwan, rebranded by tone and proauto. I have the longer pro-auto version, also swapped the gear for the tone to see if it was truly the same(it's the same).

    Tools of Japan

It should be noted that Koken never takes Shortcuts. It's why they don't release new tools often, and why once release and something is wrong it takes them a long time to re-release a tool.

    SEMA 2025

There prototype was just a LP90, they since change some of Internal design to eliminate most of the issues the original had.

    Tools of Japan

If I ever go back to Tokyo or any big city I can get you one. Unfortunately I have zero dealers close to me here in northern Japan. But idk if they sell individuals, it's probably a head rebuild kit.

Koken Z-Series Ratchet Owners - tell me more about the handle / grip

Koken really need to offer all those other handle options on the z ratchet. Would kill to have their knurling on, and will definitely replace all mine if they had their regular comfort grip. For me it's fine but a tad small, so will love something slightly bigger.

screw driver shafts with no handles, can i re-handle them?

Absolutely, you can buy handles from snap-on or who ever sell them. Someone can 3d print you some, or you salvage some handles from broken tip screwdrivers.

    Tools of Japan

I know as is local to my base, it's probably old stock that was never used and sold off when we upgraded. We tend to auction off old never used tools we can't warranty. It's only missing the 1/2, super awesome find.

    Tools of Japan

Japan is rapidly changing, but it's still a powerhouse in second hand stores finds. This is not a japanese tool, but I wanted to highlight something that will probably never happened to me in the USA. That is finding a almost complete newish SK USA made SAE set for 14$(¥1900). What's missing is...

    Tools of Japan

Perfectly said, for the most part Japanese manufacturer can't offer that kind of service/products. The price will just increase by a lot to offset lost revenue.

    Tools of Japan

They won't, it's prob just a byproduct of going to a Japanese manufacturer for it's driver. Also most of the line is from Taiwan, meaning they will get what they offer. Maybe they could offer rebranded JIS but remember the USA doesn't use the same end shank as Japan. So that's a big if imo.

    Problem with New Craftsman Ratchet

What you pay for the verstack kit? It a cheap kit almost always on sale for 100$. With that come a lot of compromises, like a lack of quality. Also there might not be anything wrong with the ratchet just a QC issue, when assembled. Reassemble it and try again, if it happened again warranty. If...
