    Here's hoping the torsion bar issue is an easy fix! Can I ask where you sourced your flexible heater air hoses, the ~2.5" red ones? I need a few feet of that for my 928, but I can only find it in short pieces from 911 vendors.

    Steve, do you connect a battery maintainer on your VW? I've doubled my average battery lifespan since I started using them. I picked CTek because Jay Leno seems to use them, but I've seen the same improvements at work with NOCO maintainers as well.

    So cool to see this project nearing completion! You might want to consider skipping the breakaway bolts on the column. Removing them is such a pain, if you ever have future electrical issues.

    While I have no experience with Ferrari hoses, chances are they're built by an OEM with high standards. Since the originals lasted ~25 years, my vote is for a set of genuine hoses. Several decades experience with Porsche and Toyota hoses and I've never seen issues, while I have seen numerous...
