He’s happy with the capacity. I’m not experienced with this type of structure so I wanted to get your guy’s input on if it’s good enough for now or if he needs to add more.

Those were removed. They were helping to hold up the old 2x4s. I was able to get an older photo of what it previously looked like.

So is this something he should tear down and redo? Any suggestions I can give him to make it better. It’s a single story house in southern CA. And I’m not sure where he got the wood from but a quick google search shows that Menards has 2x8x24. (Can’t post a link as my post count is to low)
